DIY E-Liquid for Beginners

(Old Goat’s Guide to Not Blowing Your Face Off)

So you’ve decided to mix your own juice. Good choice. You’ll save money, you’ll never be held hostage by stock shortages, and you’ll actually know what’s going into your tank. But before you run off and dump random concentrates into a bottle, let’s cover the basics.

---

What You’ll Need

1. **PG (Propylene Glycol)** – Carries flavour and gives a bit of throat hit.
2. **VG (Vegetable Glycerin)** – Brings the clouds and smoothness.
3. **Nicotine (Optional)** – If you’re still chained to it, handle with gloves. Respect it.
4. **Flavour Concentrates** – The fun part. Get them from reliable suppliers like BLCK.
5. **Bottles & Syringes / Scale** – Because eyeballing is for lunatics.
6. **Safety Gear** – Gloves, glasses, and some common sense.

---

Mixing Basics

* Always start small. 10–30 ml test batches save you from wasting litres of VG on a disaster.
* Typical mixes are somewhere between **70VG/30PG** (cloud chasers) and **50/50** (pod users).
* Start flavours low. Most concentrates shine at **2–5%**. Dumping 20% in won’t make it better, it’ll make it taste like floor cleaner.

---

The Steep Truth

Some recipes taste fine right away (fruits). Others (custards, creams, bakeries) need a **week or more** to mellow out. Patience, young goatling.

---

Safety Notes

* Nicotine absorbs through skin. Gloves aren’t optional.
* Label everything. Nothing worse than finding a mystery bottle.
* Store out of reach of kids and pets.

Shake it, vape it, tweak it. Congratulations, you’re a mixer now.

Final Thoughts

DIY isn’t rocket science, but it’s not “just toss it in a bottle” either. Respect your ingredients, take notes, and don’t be afraid to experiment. Even the Old Goat burned a few wicks before finding his stride.
