Alright folks, this one’s got me scratching my horns.
I’ve got two RTAs that decided to mutiny at the same time — my Hellvape Hellbeast and Dead Rabbit V3. Both were running beautifully, and then suddenly… “Atomiser Short.”
Naturally, I did the usual: stripped them down, gave everything a proper clean, new coils, fresh cotton — the works. Pop them back on the mod, and now I’m getting wild resistance readings. Coils that should sit around 0.15 Ω are reading 0.5 Ω+, and the moment I hit fire — boom, atomiser short again.
Here’s the kicker: all my other RTAs work perfectly fine on the same mod. So the problem’s living somewhere in those tanks, I just can’t find it.
I’m usually the one dishing out advice around here, but this one’s beyond me. Anyone seen this sort of gremlin before? Loose post screw, bad 510, deck issue, or just the universe laughing at me again?
