According to my own rules, I cannot mention a political party, or the name of a governor, but (As if...) you don't already know, google. Every state in the union hates this ass. I hope this ass doesn't run for president!

Anyway, a while back he got someone to propose that plastic grocery bags should cost 10 cents/per. Okay, I can understand that. Reduce the plastics landing in our ocean, land filles...

Was on a ballot of a year and stores started making very sturdy, well made reusable grocery bags. Not exactly affordable for those below, at, or near the poverty level. Then of course the defiant ones thumb their noses at authority. You know those smaller hand held baskets? Put a few of them into a cart, pay for your food, push the cart to your ride, toss the baskets in, and drive away. WITHOUT, I might add, walking ALL the way to the nearest cart corral.

We paid for plastic because they put too much crap in one paper bag making them too heavy to lift. Note that we get our groceries delivered from some company called instacart. Because paper bags rip, right?

Starting January one! NO more plastic bags! And we'll be charged 15 cents per paper bag!
