RTA vs RDA

This really hit me at the recent vape meet. I was asked to taste several juices on RTAs from various people. Ranging from noobs to experts, and all I tasted every time was "dry hit, oh my God". I have four MTL RTAs left for early mornings and those midnight vapes, but otherwise I vape on RDAs exclusively. Am I the only one who doesn't get any satisfaction from RTAs anymore? Doesn't matter if it's HE or mass-produced; I just don't get any flavor from them. This is from various people, as stated, so it's not me wicking like crap or such. This will probably open up a can of worms....

Ah, the age-old flavor debate. 🐐 You’re not alone — RDAs just scream flavor compared to RTAs. It’s the nature of the beast: short, direct airflow, smaller chamber, no tank walls to mute your taste.

RTAs have their place, though: convenience. You don’t have to refill every two seconds, which is great for commuting, long drives, or just avoiding sticky fingers at work. Dripping while driving? That’s a hard nope.

So yeah, if your goal is raw, in-your-face flavor, RDAs win hands down. RTAs are the “I want flavor, but I also want my sanity and fewer refills” compromise. Each tool has its pasture — just depends if you’re chasing taste or convenience.
