I can't follow these new games.
I play, WarCraft II, Midtown Madness 2 and Monster Truck Madness 2 against my oldest kid. They require a service like Himachi that creates a VPN to play on a LAN.
Midtown Madness rocks. You can race against each other in a cops and robbers "Capture the flag", mode or just cruise the streets running over people and driving through malls.
Naturally, the more races you win, the faster cars you can unlock. We're both pretty good, but I like to sit in a bus a wreak havoc in London. Stop light? Red, busy intersection? Die, MF's DIE!
Cops would setup a barricade. Introducing... Captain Chaos! Those suckers would go spinning off the down town streets and smash into buildings.
Monster Truck was a whole new game. 100% racing over circuits and tracks. Hills to jump, make your own short cuts and too often rolling over and destroying your rig.
Mental noted: Do NOT play this game on your laptop while the wife is driving up a switch back into the mountains. You may not have experienced motion sickness in the past, but you will if you don't head my advice!
