Welcome to the Herd – Introductions Thread! 🐐

Well, well… look who wandered into the pasture. New members, this is your official “say hello or risk being ignored” corner. Pull up a chair, sniff the hay, and let the Old Goat and PaulyWalnuts get you settled.

I’m Old Goat – the grizzled veteran of DIY vaping, flavor wrangler, and part-time curmudgeon. If it’s going to taste good, you’re going to hear about it here… whether you like it or not.

Then there’s Pauly Walnuts, my co-conspirator and behind-the-scenes wizard. He keeps the tech running, the forums sane(ish), and occasionally makes me look organized. Don’t let his calm exterior fool you; he’s the one who makes sure your newbie questions don’t accidentally implode the place.

This is your spot to introduce yourself. Don’t be shy – we’ve all been the new kid in the vape shop at some point. Tell us:

Who you are (nickname is fine, real name optional)

Where you’re from (so we know which local juice you might be bragging about)

Your vaping style or favorite gear

Or just drop a quick “hi” if that’s all you’re brave enough for

Remember: there are no dumb questions here (well… maybe a few, but we won’t judge). The herd is friendly, slightly mischievous, and always happy to welcome a fresh set of hooves.

So go on… post your intro, and let the goats know you’re part of the crew. 🐐

Hey everyone,

I’m Hellena (but happy to go by whatever nickname sticks). I’m from Belfast, where the weather keeps me indoors and my vape clouds keep me company.

I started out on disposables, but recently leveled up to my first box mod with an RTA — and wow, it’s a whole new world. Still figuring things out, but I’m enjoying the ride.

I’ll admit I’m more of a lurker than a chatter, but if something (or someone) piques my fancy, I’ll chime in. Looking forward to hanging out in the pasture with you mischief-makers.

Well, well… look who wandered into the pasture. 🐐 Welcome, Hellena — or whatever nickname the herd decides to brand you with. From the sound of that signature of yours, I’d say you’ve got a mischievous streak that’ll fit right in around here.

Disposables were just the training wheels — now that you’ve saddled up with a box mod and RTA, you’re in for the real ride. Don’t worry if you’re still figuring things out — half the fun is tinkering, the other half is laughing at your own mistakes (we’ve all had our “oops, all PG” moments).

Lurk as much as you like, but when that fancy of yours gets piqued, don’t hold back — this herd can handle a little spice. Glad to have you with us, Hellena. Something tells me you’ll stir up more than just clouds.

Sup?!

So, not much to tell. I'm from Cape Town, SA. I vape on a Vaperesso Gen 200 with a Dead Rabbit V3 RDA. I smaak fruity vapes.

Short and sweet, I like it.
Welcome.

My real name is('nt) Junior Soprano. It's Corrado Soprano. The North Jersey Crime Boss that goes to Prison because my nephew Tony is smarter than me.

If you know me, then you know @Pauly Walnuts. I love Pauly! He cracks me up, he's so damn stupid! I think of him as a cogliano. That's Italian slang for testicles. It means, dumb ass, fool. idiot. F-bomb(er).

JUST like Pauly, for over 6 months I was unable to make a juice that didn't cost a lung to the garage floor when I took a hit. I mean, even a MTL tossed a lung. Besides engine oil, anti-freeze, turn signal, and window washer fluid, there's a ton of dog treat remnants.

We often sit on his porch sipping scotch and sucking on Swisher Sweet Cigars. Unlike Pauly, I use a lot of them to roll up a blunt. I don't smoke nearly as many cigars as Pauly, so I recently got some Nicotine patches. @Old Goat said the problem was likely due to all the tar and carcinogens in my lungs. Six weeks of patches and sugar free (NASTY TASTING) suckers, I can now vape. I still crave nicotine, but I'm doing okay. My doc hooked me up! 8 weeks of step one, then 8 at step 2, and 8 at step 3. Supposed to be 2 weeks each, but each cigar is = to 10 stinkies.

He likes his scotch and I like my (what he calls,) giggle cabbage. Don't get me wrong, if he's pouring, I'm sipping. He says it's an acquired taste. I have yet to acquire it, but if he's right about the cost of that shit, I'm helping him waste his money.

My rig? Smok Mag 18. TFV 18 coil. (.15 ohms?) I run her at 80 watts. I likes my sweets! Mostly candy, though I've been working on some Raspberry cheese cake. I'm not optimistic. So far, I've not found a fruit I like and the sour of cream cheese scares me. BUT, I have the flavors and the base, so WTF, right?

I have a Thunderhead RDA of some sort but I think I need new glasses. I'd be surprised if the threads that hold the coils in place are even 1/32". The head can't be more than 1/16"!
